Cause: The comparison excluded landed logistics, commonality and service burden.

Prüfen: Recalculate landed unit cost, inventory exposure, component commonality, damage records and service time using the same accounting boundaries as the existing range.

Correction/prevention: Improve packaging/support scope through controlled changes, keep the item as non-stocked if its role remains useful, or remove it if incremental coverage does not justify the burden. Future entry-role approvals must include logistics and service gates.

Scenario 4: the approved sample changes before production

Problem: Production units contain a component that looks similar to the approved sample but changes installation, control behavior or spare-parts identity.
