Treat that move as a group-layout decision: the photographed bench, entry and emitter arrangement must suit the intended users, and the room, access and electrical interfaces still have to be closed for the quoted build.

5,250 W is the current IR13 planning load. It is not the destination electrical design and does not rank heating performance. The quoted build still needs its applicable supply, controls, protection and included Infrared hardware confirmed.

What the Step Up From IR12 Actually Adds

The move from IR12 changes three concrete parts of the brief: occupancy class, cabin envelope and the interior arrangement that must be checked. It does not create a performance hierarchy from the wattage labels.

Use emitter-wall and corner views to understand photographed placement relative to seating. Images show geometry, not emitter performance.

A 3–4 person classification does not guarantee the same comfort for every group of four or confirm suitability for commercial or public use.

Check the 1800 × 1800 mm IR13 Against the Finished Room

Fit the Product Envelope to the Room

Start with the 1800 × 1800 × 2000 mm product envelope and compare it with the finished room boundaries. That is a fit screen, not a complete allowance for the installed cabin.

Trace the Inbound & Assembly Path

Check the path from delivery point to final position: door openings, corridors, turns, level changes and the path needed for components or assembly. A room that accepts the final enclosure may still have a restrictive approach.

Reserve Space for Interfaces & Service

After placement, keep workable access for entry, controls, electrical connections, ventilation context, assembly work and later service. These interfaces sit outside the bare product envelope.

What the Larger Envelope Does Not Prove

Choosing the larger cabin is a bigger spatial commitment than choosing IR12. It does not, on its own, prove that installation is difficult or determine project-specific clearances.

Inspect the IR13 Bench, Emitter & Interior Geometry

IR13’s image set is unusually useful for a model page: it shows front and open-door views, bench geometry, glass/entry relationships, emitter-wall and corner positions, interior details and the dimension drawing. Use those images to understand photographed physical arrangement. Do not turn them into claims about emitter count, wavelength, spectrum, output, heat distribution, electrical topology or therapeutic performance.

Request an IR13 Quote

For IR13, the enquiry should prove two things: why the project needs the larger cabin, and whether the intended group can actually use the shown layout.

Provide: destination, quantity, intended user count, the requirement that rules out IR12, finished-room dimensions, access restrictions, bench or group-use priorities, available electrical supply, ventilation context, control requirements and the drawing/document package needed for approval.

Two useful RFQ questions are: Which project requirement requires IR13 instead of IR12? and Does the photographed bench/entry arrangement suit the intended group?

Smaller & Alternate Indoor Routes

Use IR12 when the project can return to a smaller Infrared cabin. Use ID14L when the 3–4 Person class still fits but the project requires Traditional rather than Infrared heating.
