HACHILL Product Engineering focuses on manufacturer-side product information and technical interfaces. Architectural design, structural design, local MEP engineering, permitting and field execution remain with the appropriate project professionals.
Start with the established product route, then isolate the fit, interface, drawing or configuration issue that still needs manufacturer input.
Identify the product family or model and the configuration relevant to the question. If the exact model is not yet known, use the current product pages or Product Support before relying on model-specific engineering assumptions.
Describe the product-side condition that needs review. This may involve a product dimension, connection point, interface location, relevant clearance, integration condition or another point where the selected equipment meets the project.
The surrounding building, structural, MEP and local-code design remain with the relevant project professionals.
Use model information that actually applies to the selected route or configuration. Where available, an applicable drawing, technical document or model reference can make the technical issue easier to evaluate.
Do not assume that a file from another model, configuration or earlier project automatically applies.
Identify an unusual interface, fit constraint, configuration question or other condition that requires manufacturer-side technical review.
A non-standard question does not automatically mean the product can be modified. Materially different product-development requirements should move to the appropriate OEM or ODM route.
Technical fit is more than whether the product can occupy the intended space. Product-side interfaces, related equipment and future service access may also affect the decision.

Where the selected product depends on related heating, cooling or other equipment, include that equipment relationship in the review. The applicable integration depends on the selected HACHILL product.

Review only the interfaces that apply to the selected equipment. Depending on the product, these may involve electrical, water, drainage, ventilation or another relevant connection.
Site routing, protection, system design and local compliance remain with the appropriate qualified project professionals.
A product that fits at installation still needs suitable access for the service or maintenance activities that apply to that equipment.
This is different from temporary contractor working space during installation. It concerns ongoing access to the product where future service or maintenance may require it.
Product Engineering stays on the equipment side of the decision. Architectural design, local engineering, field execution and new-product development should remain with the specialists responsible for those activities.

Handle structural, MEP, local system design, code compliance and permit-related work.
Handle receiving, field access, working space, site assembly, local trades and execution.
Take over when the requirement changes from product-side review into commercial customization or materially new product development.
Installation Support is the manufacturer-side route when the product is known and the main question is how current HACHILL information relates to the actual installation site.
A technical issue can expose a design, installation, development, manufacturing or quality question that belongs to a different HACHILL route.
